Ever since I saw my first chess match between Man and Machine, I've been hooked on Artificial Intelligence. With AI now beating humans at complex games like Go, the implications are dazzling. Will thinking machines one day Reason as well as us? Surpass us? Work alongside us as invaluable partners? The opportunities feel endless, as do the responsibilities to guide this technology thoughtfully.

In today's modern world Cyber Security is a vital issue, where digital technologies are ubiquitous and hackers are constantly trying to breach defenses. Accordingly, it is important to learn how we best safeguard our data and devices from malicious actors. Researching into this space and learn from the experts what is best practice is something that I find quite interesting.

Software Development is an area that I've been passionate about since my teenage years, and I still continue to find enjoyable. The creative process of writing code and the ability to build something tangible from it are both satisfying and relaxing. Though, there's always more to learn, and I'm always striving to improve my skills.

In recent decades, 3D Printing has emerged as a revolutionary technology with the potential to transform manufacturing and design. Remember when 3D printing seemed like a sci-fi flight of fancy? Now consumer models are commonplace while industrial systems tower forming complex aircraft sections. On the personal front, I enjoy prototyping gadgets of all sorts, and creating useful tools and objects with my 3d printer whether its from predesigned items or ones I have generated from scratch using a CAD tool.

Finally, Drones are an area of interest for me. I love their ability to capture amazing aerial footage and stunning scenery from different vantage points, which can then be processed in a video editor, combined with stunning cinematic music to make a powerful beautiful landscape video.
